Benefits Conversion

Run Maintain Participant Eligibility process for the Program. You may need to add the following requests to your request group first:

Run the concurrent process Maintain Participant Eligibility with the following parameters (run for the effective date you would like your life event to process) Detect temporal events should be changed to “None.” Run in Commit mode to enable life event, or rollback if testing the process

This will put Unrestricted Life Event as started and allow you to use WebADI to enroll employees for the effective date given for the concurrent process.

From HRMS Configuration Workbench Responsibility, Select Benefits Enrollments action button from the Data Conversion menu:

Select Load benefits elections action button
Select the Business Group, Click Go and Launch Spreadsheet:
Unprotect the worksheet and populate the information you intend to load:
When you've entered everything you want to load, select Add Ins and Oracle then Upload. The system will tell you that a row loaded successfully. This does not confirm that the information was accepted by the system.
Return to the web screen you downloaded the spreadsheet from and click continue. Select Run Data Pump.
When the data pump process shows as complete, select Correct Errors. This will show you a report of how many lines loaded successfully, and generate an error report.
To view the error report, launch the spreadsheet.
Column AF of the report will indicate the error issue, by line loaded. This list will accumulate errors as you load the lines. If you reload, and get a repeat error, the errors will be cumulative. Save the error reports for troubleshooting.
Between each plan, or if you want to clear the error report, you will run the Data Pump Purge process:

DELETE BATCH HEADER MUST BE SET TO NO AT ALL TIMES. The default is Yes, but deleting the batch header will require you to manually recreate the header for all loads going forward. ALWAYS change this to No. You can also purge your specific batch to avoid interfering with other loads, in which case the Batch Name is Load Benefits Elections.
